Choosing Woodgrain Film For Commercial Interiors
Choose a woodgrain direction with the room, lighting and panel layout in view. A small sample is the beginning of approval, not the final decision.

Start With Existing Finishes
Place the sample beside flooring, adjacent woodwork and metal trim under the property’s actual lighting. Compare undertones as well as lightness. A finish that looks neutral in daylight may read differently in a corridor with warm lamps.
Review The Whole Panel
For doors and long wall panels, review grain direction, repeat and seam placement on a larger mockup. Ask the team to show the edge return and a typical joint. Approve the pattern code and layout together so procurement and installation follow the same reference.
Before Your Project Review
- Photograph the sample in its intended location.
- Record grain direction and the approved pattern code.
- Keep an approved physical reference for the project.
