1. Identity, scope and reading this disclosure
Atlas Finishes™ is the trade name of AAF & LIMITED CO. References to Atlas Finishes, we, us or our refer to that business acting within the scope of the particular service or transaction concerned. This disclosure addresses the public website, materials library, educational guides, visualizations, project references and inventory interfaces. It is intended to explain the context and limits of those communications; it is not a substitute for an accepted quotation, a signed agreement, a manufacturer document or applicable law.
2. Independent commercial role
Our activities may include material resale, finish selection assistance, independent installation and project coordination, as described in the applicable written scope. A product listing or installation example does not identify the manufacturer as the seller of our services, make us the manufacturer of a third-party product, or make the manufacturer responsible for our independent business commitments. The identities and responsibilities of the seller, installer, supplier, contractor and warrantor must be confirmed for the transaction concerned.
3. Third-party ownership and identification
Third-party names, marks, product codes, trade dress, logos, photographs, catalog extracts and technical documents remain subject to the rights of their respective owners. References are presented for identification, comparison, documentation or discussion of relevant materials and experience. Attribution does not transfer ownership or resolve whether a particular use requires permission. No person receives a license to third-party material merely because it appears here, and nothing in this disclosure authorizes conduct that would otherwise infringe another person's rights.
4. Authorization and certification statements
An authorized dealer, distributor, partner, approved installer or certified installer designation applies only when expressly stated and supported by current documentation for the identified brand, product line, territory, activity and period. Authorization for one purpose must not be extrapolated to another brand, product, service or location. Training attendance, possession of samples, product purchases or installation experience alone should not be read as proof of a continuing manufacturer authorization. Ask us to identify the relevant documentation when that status is material to your decision.
5. No implied agency or endorsement
Brand references, procurement classifications, project names, supplier relationships, hyperlinks and visual proximity on a page do not by themselves establish an agency, franchise, exclusive dealership, joint venture, sponsorship or endorsement. Atlas Finishes cannot bind a manufacturer, property owner, public body or other third party unless separately empowered to do so. A third party's separate written authorization or agreement remains controlling within its own scope; this disclosure does not revoke, expand or amend it.
6. Technical information and source hierarchy
Summaries, translated descriptions and comparison tables are aids to initial review. Confirm the exact manufacturer, product identifier, revision, test method, specimen construction, limitations and intended installation against current primary documentation. Where a website summary conflicts with an applicable manufacturer document, obtain clarification before specifying, buying or installing the product. A convenient link, downloadable file or cached inventory record is not a representation that every later manufacturer revision has already been incorporated.
7. Fire, smoke and code classifications
A stated fire classification or test result concerns the specific tested product and assembly under the stated method and conditions. It is not a universal classification of every finish, adhesive, substrate, installation detail or completed room. Architectural surface refinishing is not a substitute for required fire-resistance-rated construction, fire-door labeling, elevator certification or an authority's approval. The project team must confirm the applicable requirements and obtain the necessary product and assembly documentation before relying on a classification.
8. Environmental, hygiene and durability descriptions
VOC, indoor-air, moisture, antimicrobial, mold-resistance, abrasion, chemical-resistance and similar descriptions require product-specific context. They should not be read as a health claim, a guarantee that a space will be free of bacteria or mold, permission for immersion or uncontrolled wet exposure, or a promise that a finish cannot scratch, stain, fade or peel. Cleaning chemistry, contact time, traffic, temperature, substrate condition and maintenance can materially affect results. Product labels and applicable test documentation must be consulted.
9. Existing conditions and suitability
Photos, drawings and approximate dimensions cannot establish concealed conditions, coating adhesion, moisture content, contamination, substrate stability or every operational constraint. Suitability may require a site review, substrate preparation, adhesion testing, a mock-up, additional approvals or a different material or construction approach. Decorative film does not correct structural deterioration, active leaks, unsafe electrical or mechanical equipment, or a failure of an underlying assembly. Scope and responsibility for assessment and remediation must be addressed in the project documents.
10. Samples, photography and visualization
Screen colors, finish libraries, sample photographs and simulated before-and-after views are illustrative. Lighting, display calibration, texture, gloss, print scale, grain direction, manufacturing variation and surrounding materials may change the perceived result. An AI-assisted visualization or a stock application image is not a record of completed work or a promise of an exact installed appearance. Approve a suitable physical sample or mock-up and the actual material code before making a final specification.
11. Project references and subcontracted experience
Project and property names may identify locations, types of work or installation experience, including work performed through another contractor or business relationship. They do not necessarily identify direct contractual customers, procurement awards, manufacturer-approved projects or present endorsements. Photographs and descriptions should be read together with their stated scope. A reference to experience at one location does not imply responsibility for an entire building, every surface shown or unrelated work performed by others.
12. Inventory, price and supply information
Stock figures and catalog records are snapshots from identified supply sources and may be delayed, incomplete or changed by other orders. A total length does not establish a continuous cut, a full roll, a reservation, a consistent dye lot or availability for your required date. Displayed estimates are not binding offers unless expressly accepted under the relevant transaction process. Confirm pattern, quantity, cut requirements, freight, taxes, lead time, location and final commercial terms before ordering or scheduling work.
13. Manufacturer and installation warranties
Manufacturer product warranties and any Atlas Finishes installation warranty are separate obligations of their respective warrantors, subject to applicable law and the actual written terms. Coverage may depend on product selection, purchase channel, permitted application, preparation, maintenance, registration or claim procedures where validly required. No website statement creates a manufacturer obligation or extends a warranty beyond its governing terms. Equally, this disclosure does not cancel an express warranty, mandatory consumer protection or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Project documents and professional responsibilities
The accepted scope should address the contracting parties, material approval, preparation, access, protection, scheduling, exclusions, change orders, payment, completion and warranty handling. The allocation of permits, code review, engineering, design, elevator-contractor coordination or specialty-trade work requires project-specific agreement and any required qualifications. General website guidance is not a design professional's certification or a determination by an authority having jurisdiction. Legally binding representations and responsibilities remain subject to applicable law.
15. Government and SBA references
SBA SDVOSB certification, SAM registration, business identifiers and procurement classifications concern their respective administrative purposes and current records. They do not constitute federal endorsement of a product, manufacturer relationship, license for regulated work, guarantee of performance or automatic eligibility for every solicitation. A procuring entity must apply its own requirements, and the relevant status should be verified in the authoritative system for the date and procurement concerned.
16. External resources and communications
Third-party websites, manufacturer files and linked tools may have separate terms, security practices and revision cycles. We do not control every external resource or guarantee its continued availability. Email, upload and inquiry tools are conveniences, not a substitute for confirming receipt of time-critical instructions or an accepted change order. Do not submit passwords, government identifiers, payment-card details, sensitive building-security information or material you are not entitled to share through a general inquiry form.
17. Rights-holder notices and factual corrections
If you believe a page incorrectly describes your product, authorization, ownership or project role, contact info@atlasfinishes.com with the affected URL, the exact statement or material, your relationship to the rights concerned, supporting current documentation and a reply address. We may request clarification and review or temporarily restrict disputed content while assessing the issue. A request or review is not an admission of liability, a concession of ownership or a promise of a particular outcome. Lawful rights and formal notice procedures remain available.
18. Interpretation, updates and reserved rights
Read statements in their full context, including the identified product, source, date, limitations and linked documents. A translation is provided for accessibility; discrepancies should be clarified before a commercial decision, and mandatory local-language requirements remain applicable. We may correct or update this disclosure prospectively. No update silently changes an existing signed agreement, grants a third-party license or excludes liability that law does not permit us to exclude. Questions concerning a specific transaction should identify that transaction and the controlling documents.
